It’s a dream every single one of us has, to wake up one morning and find out you’ve won the jackpot. Whether it’s the lottery, a scratchcard or a casino win, winning a huge sum of money can get you thinking about what you really want to spend your money on and how it could affect your daily life.

Casino Bonus Tips recently conducted a survey of over 1000 people to find out exactly what it is the nation would splash out on first. We’ve put together the top 7 to give you a few ideas, and get you thinking about what your first purchase could be.

A mansion

Number one on the list was a brand new home, preferably a mansion, with an unnecessary amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. Having a nice big house is a dream for a lot of people and we all have an image of what kind of home we would love to live in.  

A holiday

At least one dream destination is on everyone’s bucket list. For some, world travel is something they long to aspire to, but for others there may be just one particular destination they have always longed to visit.  

A car

One of the biggest status items you can purchase, many people would splash their cash on their dream car. Whether that’s a Porsche, a Range Rover or a Lamborghini, a new car is the ultimate indicator that you’ve been lucky enough to land a lump sum of cash.

Food & Drink

Surprisingly, food and drink came in at number 4 on the list. A lot of the survey participants said that they would spend their winnings on a fancy meal, crates of their favourite alcoholic beverage or their favourite food.

Mortgage and outstanding debts

The more sensible people stated that they would make sure all of their mortgages and outstanding debts were paid off. Then, once all of their debts were out the way, they would spend what they had left on more luxurious items.

Charity

There were also those that said they would want to share some of their new found wealth with those less fortunate. Many said that the first thing they would do, would be to give a portion of their winnings to a charity rather than spend it on themselves.

Yourself

In contrast to those who said they would give to charity, a number of people said that they would spend their winnings on themselves. Splashing out on things such as experience days, solo trips, spa days etc.
