Is Gratitude The Secret Key To Success?

The Secret Key To Success

We all want to find that thing. That key to uber amounts of success that has seemed to have eluded the masses. Well, what if I told you that that key was something that we all have? What if I told you that all you need to do is tap into it more?

According to Russell Ruffino, millionaire founder of Clients-on-Demand with a rags to riches story that’s hard not to pay attention to, that key is gratitude. That’s right, the simple habit of being thankful could open the door to the success of your dreams.

Gratitude With A Twist Is The Key

The truth of the matter is that we all have gratitude for the most part. Most of us can say that we are thankful for the things that we have. However, how often do you think about being thankful for the things that you have? Moreover, what about the things that you don’t.

The twist on the gratitude here, according to the millionaire entrepreneur cited above, is not only being thankful for the things that you do have, but being thankful for the things you don’t. I know, it sounds strange, but there’s great logic behind it.

Ruffino suggests that you take 15 to 20 minutes in the morning and at night to feel thankful for the things that you haven’t yet accomplished. The idea is to let go of where you are now and let yourself feel what you would feel had you reached the level in life that you would like to.

How Does This Bring Success

At first glance, this sounds like a bunch of life coach gibberish. However, when we dig into the psychology associated with this action, it really makes sense.

You’ve heard the term, “fake it till you make it,” I’m sure. The idea is pretty much one in the same with Ruffino’s idea. The aphorism suggests that by displaying confidence and an optimistic mindset, success is easier to find.

The idea of gratitude with a twist follows these same lines. If you put yourself in a position where you get the opportunity to feel what it’s like to reach the level of success that you’d like to achieve, chances are that you will exude more confidence, be willing to push yourself, and ultimately, find your way to the success that you’re allowing yourself to feel every morning and every night.

Gratitude In And Of Itself

Beyond the psychological benefits of showing gratitude for the things that you haven’t yet accomplished, gratitude is important in and of itself in business. The truth of the matter is that no one wants to work with someone that doesn’t show that they are thankful for the business.

The truth of the matter is that if you are truly grateful for the business provided by your customers, the level of your service is going to be top notch. You’re going to want to make sure that they get what they pay for, and more. You’re going to treat every customer like they are your first. Perhaps most importantly, your customer is going to be able to tell the difference in the level of service that they receive.

Who Would Have Thought That The Simple Act Of Being Thankful Was So Important

There you have it, whether it’s being thankful for the things that you have, being thankful for the things that you are working to achieve, or simply being thankful for every customer that walks through your door, gratitude is a crucial step toward success. Taking time out of your day to show gratitude may just propel you to the next level of success.
