Matched betting without free bets

Matched betting without free bets 1

The easiest way to explain matched betting to someone who’s never heard of it is this: It’s a risk free way to turn bookmakers’ promotions of free bet offers into real money.
Bookies use free bets to promote their services and attract new customers. But, you can only sign up once and there’s a finite number of bookies. So what do you do once you run out of free bets? This is probably the question we see most. In this post, we’ll show you three ways you can continue to make money matched betting without free bets.

Ways of matched betting without free bets

1. Existing customer offers

2. Casino offers

3. Other matched betting strategies

1. Existing customer offers

The free bets don’t stop when you run out of new sign ups to complete. Bookmakers offer ‘reload’, ‘bonus’ and ‘ongoing’ offers to their existing customers. As sign up offers are used to attract new customers, reload offers are offered to persuade them to keep betting. A few examples include: “Deposit £X, get £X bonus”, “Money back as a free bet if your first goalscorer scores second” and “Refund on selected markets”.

2. Casino and bingo offers

OK, so maybe this isn’t strictly matched betting, but casino and bingo offers do fall under the general umbrella. It’s another string to add to your money-making bow. Again, there are loads of offers available, both to brand new sign ups and existing customers. Again, there are different types like free spins, free money and money back if you lose, to name just a few.
Promotions swing the odds into your favour and you can make money if the wagering requirements are favourable.
Expected Value is the amount of money you can mathematically expect to return from an offer. An offer can give us positive expected value (+EV) where we are expected to make money or negative expected value (-EV) where we’re expected to lose money.

3. Other matched betting strategies

Accumulators, extra places, each way betting and dutching are just a few of the ways you can continue to earn money once you’ve completed the sign up offers. These strategies can be used daily, weekly or monthly to keep you generating profits. Some of these methods are more advanced than most of the initial matched betting offers available but they’re a great source of income. And don’t worry about having to learn them, because you’re not alone…
