UK Christmas Costs Survey & Infographic

Winter and Christmas: the wonderful time of year that brings with it presents, extra heating bills, and for many of us mountains of debt.

Christmas for many of us is an expensive time of year, and it seems to get more so every year.

The team at 247Moneybox decided to conduct a survey into the costs of Christmas in the UK, and helpfully created an infographic to go with the results.

This might shock you a little: the average family spent a massive £1554 over the Xmas.

The survey also found that one third of people had to spend on credit to cover costs.
