If you are just starting out in the world of blogging it can be hard to get your feet under the table so to speak. You write great content and you put it up on your blog but what you really want after that are some eyeballs to notice it.
The Money Shed has been running a subforum dedicated to bloggers in the UK for quite a number of years now and it has some fantastic threads in it that act as great tools to any new or existing blogger.
The forum itself has over 4000 members and over 96,000 posts so it’s chocked full of UK Bloggers you can chat to!
Before we take a look at what’s on offer it’s important I mention that BIGGEST BENEFIT of taking part in our subforum compared to a Facebook group dedicated to bloggers with similar ideas.

So every time you post a link to one of your sites or social media channels etc. it gets picked up as a proper backlink to your site which will really benefit your site in terms of Google rankings! The Money Shed currently has a DA of 32 so the backlink is of great use to people who are just starting out!
So let’s have a look at the different dedicated threads we have in the UK Bloggers subforum.
Here you are able to advertise your latest posts. A great number of times people will comment on your posts on the thread giving you instant feedback about your blog post or even help you out if they spot a spelling or grammar mistake (as as happened to me many times!)
Want to have some comments on your blog post to help spur your regular readers into action? On this thread you can promote your latest blog post and then it’s just a simple case of posting on the 2 blog posts above. As people continue to post on the thread the whole thing just carries on organically.
StumbleUpon seems to really have come back in a big way with some UK Bloggers getting amazing traffic from it. Here you can ask people to Stumble your own posts and also do the same to your fellow posters to help you out.
Here we keep an list of all blogs that are run by people who post on The Money Shed. As mentioned above it not only gives you an easy way of getting a backlink to your site but gives you the chance to discover blogs from your fellow members.
On top of all of the above there are many other threads in there and of course you can make your own. A lot of people will ask for help and advice and that tends to get answered in a much more structured manor. If someone wants help with say getting started on Twitter and you’ve written a blog post all about that you are absolutely free to reply to them and give them that link. Link dropped where relevant is VERY MUCH PROMOTED as I believe it helps bloggers out and what is the point in writing out a long explanation to answer a query when you might already have a blog post giving them the same answer you can point them to!
On top of all of the above there is a fully integrated Private Message system so you can talk to each other privately behind the scenes and you are of course free to add your blog URL in your signature which will of course advertise your blog to everyone who reads your posts on The Money Shed forum!
